so nikita had just woken for a feed last night when i heard this noise and the sensor light outside came on, i woke up wayne cos i knew something was out there!!and chevy was barking! so we look out our little bathroom window and theres a racoon getting into our rubbish!! i was soo excited cos ive never seen a racoon before!!anyway really bad pics but wanted to show them anyhow

crazy canadian halloween

so this is a post for all my nz ozzie friends and family who barely celebrate halloween if they even do celebrate halloween at all?

i feel like this has been my first halloween in canada cos 2 of them we were in nz and one of them kingston was to young to go out and trick or treat, sooo this year we borrowed on of his cousins old zebra costumes and went trick-or-treating down in trout creek with all the kids(10kids in total). well actually first of all; grandma showed up at our house decked out in a witches costume, green face and all, kingston had no idea who or what she was!then that we went to strong start and the whole entire school was dressed up!they did a parade of all the kids and teachers in their costumes, seriously amazing costumes and every single kid and teacher was dressed up too the nines!so as soon as it got dark we went trick-or-treating.. so the streets in trout creek were just packed with kids all dressed up, like most houses we went to, there was more kids waiting behind us to get to the door, like a line up!!and the houses, some were done up soo elaborately!!with freaky noises, smoke machines, skulls, most lawns were like a grave yard, sticks with heads on them, skeletons, spiderwebs, pumpkins, like full on!!and im sure halloween in america is even more over the top?janelle? but all the ppl that handed out candy were so nice, like so many old men and ladies that just thought it was wonderful to chat to all the little kids.
and then the amount of candy that kingston came home with?!?!?!!! like a groccery bag full to the brim!!!the ppl in the houses must of had to buy sooo much candy!!
anyway kingston just loved it and was saying "trick treat thanks much""CANDY" and came home and dumped out his treasures to check out!
