ssssssssssssooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo...............................

dont know how to write this, dont know how to start, clearly have been putting off doing this blog cos its august now!!BUT here it is cos ppl are asking

dad and i started at about 6:30 (dad biked with me as my support crew)off down the channel. was a beautiful morning actually!temp got up to about 36 degrees celsius so was rather hot! but had a pain in my knee basically as soon as i started, it wasnt too bad to start with. anyway felt good good good, wayne mum and kingston meet us when i was about 5k from halfway. im very thankful for their support, it was very encouraging!knee was getting worse,took some pain killer at halfway. yeah , my knee just got worse and worse. so we made it back to skaha beach which is about 6k from the finishing beach and i was thinking i'd just walk the rest so at least i finish but there was no way, my knee was killing me by that stage. so we stopped!i actually felt good apart from the sore knee bit and afterwards didnt even have that sore muscles .

it was incredibly disappointing to say the least!!especially(for 2 reasons actually)1-because i was so close to the end and i'd put so much time and effort in to training for it and 2- because the stupid pain in my knee, in all my running i'd never had that pain before, so i dont even know what caused it!!

anyway i ran 36km, i definately got back into shape and i think i might just keep up the running(but maybe only 3k a day:))

unfortunately i missed out on the sense of achivement and the feel good "I ROCK" part of the deal!!haha but oh well
